Amalfi

Amalfi is the historic heart of the Amalfi Coast, where history, tradition, and coastal scenery come together in a unique setting. The town, with its spectacular cathedral and picturesque streets, offers seaside venues perfect for elegant ceremonies and receptions. Amalfi is ideal for couples who want to combine history, culture, and authenticity, creating a wedding that will remain etched in their guests’ memories, set against breathtaking views and a quintessentially Mediterranean atmosphere.

Sorrento

Sorrento, the gateway to the Amalfi Coast, is perfect for those seeking versatility and accessibility without compromising on style. The city offers high-end accommodations, from boutique hotels to panoramic villas overlooking the Gulf of Naples. Sorrento is ideal for both large weddings and intimate events, with the added benefit of being well-connected to Naples, Pompeii, and Capri. Here, you can combine culinary experiences, cultural tours, and moments of relaxation, transforming the wedding into a truly immersive experience for guests.

Positano

Positano is undoubtedly the most iconic destination on the Amalfi Coast, with its pastel-colored houses that seem to cling to the cliffs overlooking the sea. This spectacular town is perfect for those dreaming of a glamorous, elegant, and highly photogenic wedding. Panoramic terraces, picturesque stairways, and luxury boutique hotels offer unique venues for ceremonies and receptions. Moreover, Positano offers a magical atmosphere at sunset, when the sun’s rays reflect off the sea, creating a romantic and unforgettable setting for the bride and groom and their guests.

Ravello

Ravello is the epitome of elegance and sophistication. Perched in a panoramic location along the Amalfi Coast, this town is home to some of Italy’s most prestigious villas, such as Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo, featuring historic gardens, breathtaking terraces, and unparalleled views of the sea. Ravello is ideal for intimate and elegant weddings, where every detail can be perfected. Its intimate and romantic atmosphere also makes it perfect for luxury events, where the local art and culture become an integral part of the wedding.

Planning a wedding on the Amalfi Coast means choosing one of Italy’s most exclusive destinations, and this is reflected in the budget. On average, a destination wedding here can start at €40,000–€50,000 for more intimate events, and can exceed €100,000 for luxury weddings at iconic venues.

What I always explain to my couples is that the cost depends on several factors: the number of guests, the choice of venue (5-star hotel, private villa, panoramic terrace), decor, entertainment, and logistics. My job is to optimize the budget without compromising on elegance and the overall experience.

The best months to visit are May, June, September, and early October. The weather is perfect, the light is wonderful, and the crowds are more manageable than during the peak summer season.

July and August are spectacular, but hotter and more crowded. Personally, I always recommend considering the shoulder season as well, which offers a more authentic atmosphere and a better experience for visitors.

The Amalfi Coast is stunning, but it requires careful logistical planning. Narrow roads, traffic, and limited access make precise planning essential.

That’s why hiring a local wedding planner really makes a difference: coordinating transportation, vendors, and timing is essential to avoid stress and ensure a smooth, flawless event.

On the Amalfi Coast, you can organize symbolic, civil, and religious weddings.

Symbolic ceremonies are the most popular, as they allow for complete creative freedom and are often held on terraces with panoramic sea views. Civil ceremonies are available at authorized venues, while religious ceremonies take place in beautiful historic churches overlooking the Mediterranean.

Guests can stay in charming hotels, boutique hotels, or private villas located throughout the various towns along the coast.

Transportation logistics are a key consideration: we arrange private transfers, boats, or dedicated shuttles to ensure comfort and punctuality. This is one of the aspects I always pay close attention to, as it directly impacts the guests’ overall experience.

The Amalfi Coast is perfect for intimate and exclusive weddings, as well as for larger-scale events.

Many venues have capacity limits, so events are often kept small (50–100 guests), creating a refined, polished, and highly personalized atmosphere.

One of the best parts is turning the wedding into a real journey. You can organize boat tours, cooking classes, limoncello tastings, and visits to Capri or Pompeii.

I always love putting together a multi-day itinerary so that guests can experience the Amalfi Coast not just as a venue, but as an authentic experience.
