Wedding on the Coast of the Gods
Few people know Calabria as a tourist destination, but those who choose it as their wedding destination are sure to fall in love with it forever.
The actual wedding had already taken place in Canada the previous year, but this couple wanted to repeat the celebrations to share them with their friends and relatives living in southern Italy.

On the beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, a friend of the newlyweds conducted the beautiful symbolic ceremony, in the shade of a centuries-old carob tree and accompanied by the melodious sounds of piano and violin. This allowed guests to simultaneously enjoy the ceremony and admire the enchanting Tropea coast.
Intimate weddings are no less heartfelt than those with large numbers of guests, and this one proved just that. After the ceremony, with such mild and sunny weather even in October, the newlyweds focused on the photoshoot, taking advantage of the picturesque coastal views and the historic architecture of this former convent of the Order of Saint Francis of Paola, now a beautiful boutique hotel.

The absolutely latest trend is the hand-painted menu, then printed on the wood on both sides, so that it looks like a postcard or a picture and therefore also an exclusive gift that guests can take home as a memento of the wedding.
The Michelin-starred restaurant Minimi took care of the cuisine, while Dutch roses and large crystal candelabras decorated the imperial table set in the garden of Villa Paola, an ancient convent on the promontory overlooking Tropea and the Costa degli Dei.
