I received national recognition by reaching the semifinals for the Tuscany region at the 2018 Italian Wedding Awards in the Wedding Planner category. In 2026, I ranked among the top three in Italy in the Destination Wedding Planner category at the Let’s Planner Awards 2026 in Rome. As further confirmation of the quality of our work, several projects by Massara Events have been featured in leading industry magazines, including WeZoree.

Among her most notable collaborations is the one with Comete Gioielli: in 2017, Ilenia Massara oversaw the organization of the launch event for the “Wedding Collection.” Starting in 2020, her portfolio expanded to include strategic partnerships in the haute couture and formal wear sectors, collaborating with leading brands such as Carlo Pignatelli and Atelier Emè. More recently, since 2022, her expertise has extended to the organization of cultural and artistic events, bringing her into contact with new and dynamic players in the industry.

The most difficult challenges have primarily involved managing complex, high-pressure projects. Specifically, these have included planning weddings and events in record time, organizing events at logistically challenging venues, and staying one step ahead of the latest industry trends. Other significant challenges have included organizing corporate events on a demanding international scale.

Throughout my career, I have felt the need to give concrete form to my vision of weddings and events: an approach that places authenticity, culture, and local identity at the center.

This gave rise to the Heritage Manifesto, a project that celebrates Italian traditions by reinterpreting them in a contemporary way, with a keen eye for elegance and stylistic consistency.

At the same time, I founded Club Eccellenza, a select network of professionals and vendors with whom I share values, methods, and high-quality standards. This allows me to offer my clients a meticulously curated experience, built on solid and trusting partnerships.

I’d say my perspective. My education, including my legal training, has taught me precision and structure, while my passions, art, movement, and aesthetics, deeply influence my approach to design. I don’t just coordinate suppliers: I build an idea, a common thread that ties every element together. Furthermore, I work only with professionals I’ve selected over the years, with whom I share a method and a very high standard of quality.

Yes, it’s essential to me. I take on only a limited number of weddings each year precisely to ensure I’m always there for my clients and can give genuine attention to every detail. From our first call through to the day of the event, I’m always the point of contact for my clients. This builds a relationship of trust that ultimately reflects in the quality of the experience.

It’s an important part of my job. I handle not only the organization of the event, but also the overall experience: hospitality, logistics, timing, and side activities.

The goal is to make every guest feel at ease, guiding them through their exploration of the area without any stress. For me, a destination wedding should be experienced as a memorable journey, not just as an event.

Absolutely, and that’s exactly what I base every project on. I never work with standard templates. Every event starts with a specific idea, developed together with the clients and then refined down to the smallest detail: from the choice of venue to the atmosphere, from the color palette to the guest experiences.

I primarily work with clients who are looking for an authentic yet refined experience, and who pay close attention to detail, quality, and the overall harmony of the event. They often want something elegant, without being over-the-top, but with a strong sense of identity.
